To engineer a method for the subsea installation of scour protection as part of a new build nuclear power station development.
Our Solution
RED designed, built and delivered a bespoke subsea tool to allow the correct placement of rocks around large concrete outfall head structures. The tool was fabricated in Blyth, Northumberland by Texo Ltd prior to delivery to Avonmouth for mobilisation. The project was completed within nine months from concept to delivery.
