Our Solution
Rapid development (TRL3 to TRL7) of a first of kind modular system that utilises a modified industrial robot within a process cell to automate the core elements of a SNM repackaging process.
Benefits to the client
A technology platform that if actively commissioned will help Sellafield move humans away from harm and get hands out of gloveboxes. The project has also demonstrated a more agile approach to project execution that can be used to assist Sellafield deliver future technology development projects for the alpha environment ‘at pace’.
